We fly to rest in the Philippines, through China (the airport in Guangzhou, Bajun). There the time of arrival in Guangzhou at 14:25, departure from there at 16:30 the same day. I understand the visa is not needed, if the flight takes place on the same day. But back to Guangzhou from Manila at 21:50, and departure from there to Moscow at 12:50 the next day. Will we need a transit or another visa in this case?

Theoretically, according to the rule "24 hours" with such an air flight, the registration of a Chinese visa is not required. But I would still recommend that you apply for a single Chinese visa so that there are no problems with the return and you could probably already leave the transit zone of the airport to spend the night in a hotel.
