Tell me, please, the Egyptian pyramids in Giza are closed or not? If so, when is the opening for tourists planned?

Responds Galina Slezko
Pyramids stand in the desert in the Cairo district of Giza and, therefore, no one can "close" them. Excursions there are held. But, a two-day excursion to Cairo (the most optimal option for acquaintance with Cairo and the Pyramids) has not been conducted yet. And "one-day" does not give you a full-fledged impression of this grand monument.

Excursions to the pyramids are certainly open, no one has closed them for tourists , after all it is the most important sight of Egypt, and one of the main on our planet, enjoying huge popularity among tourists. Pyramids are one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one that survives to this day.

However, the standard excursion does not usually include visiting the pyramids inside, but for a fee you can go down to it, if so it can be expressed :))) It is very important to understand in this case that you should not have heart disease, hypertension, asthma, claustrophobia. Inside the pyramid and in its corridors, the so-called mines, it is stuffy, almost everywhere it is crowded and there is no daylight, children are better off without taking inside.

But it's very interesting to get inside, to see one of the most amazing secrets of ancient civilizations, after all the pyramid inside is impressive no less than outside.

The average cost of the tour ranges from 10-35 USD if you are coming from Cairo, 35-60 dollars from Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh by bus and up to $ 200 per plane. Buses usually leave at night, in order to easily carry the road, they are equipped with air conditioning, toilets and, in most cases, the seats are transformed into recumbent places.

The excursion includes, in various variations, meals, museum visits, skating boat ride on the Nile, etc.
