Registration of a visa
To apply for a visa, you will need the following documents:
- a passport valid for at least three months after the expiry of the visa with at least two free pages;
- a copy of the passport page with personal data and pages with inscribed children (if any)
- two color photos 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm on a light monophonic background, made recently and having the maximum similarity with the applicant;
- photocopy of all pages of the general passport (including empty ones)
- a certificate from the place of employment on the company letterhead (the address and telephone number of the organization must be indicated), indicating the position, the average monthly salary and the phrase about granting the next leave with preservation of the workplace, the seal and the signature of the official;
- The application form is completed in French or English and signed personally by the applicant.

- statement from your main bank account
- statement from a savings account
- account statement (hide card number)
- confirmation of a scholarship and student card
- sponsorship letter from parents, certificate from work with company details and indication of wages and signature of the person in charge (at least USD 700).
If tourists are going to visit French Polynesia on their own, you must additionally attach:
- hotel booking confirmation (print out from the Internet is suitable)
- print out of electronic round-trip air tickets with a fixed date;
- day program in French or English;
- the original and a copy of medical insurance with a cover of 30 thousand EUR.
For students - a certificate from the school, for students - and a copy of the student's card. For pensioners - a copy of the pension certificate. For nonworkers - confirmation of financial sources: an extract from the bank account or a letter of guarantee from the sponsor.
For children under 18 years old will need an original or a notarized copy of the birth certificate. If the child is traveling with one of the parents, the original and a copy of the notarized authorization for departure from the second parent (in Russian and French, you must indicate: "... to France and the Schengen countries") are required. If the child travels without parents, a notarized delegation of parental authority must be made to either the accompanying person or the host party in France.
The visa is valid for two to three weeks. It is recommended to submit documents at least 3 weeks before the expected date of travel.
