You can get to the city by train or by bus. The trip from Tel Aviv by bus number 90 will take 30 minutes, from Jerusalem and Haifa - about an hour. Shabbat is followed by minibuses (sherut).

In the Museum of Modern Art, founded in 1965, one can see contemporary works by Israeli and international artists. Each year the museum presents four cycle exhibitions.
