The Institute of Responsible Tourism, which closely cooperates with UNESCO, awarded the prize for contribution to the development of rational use of natural resources to hostel Twentytu Hi-Tech Hostel in Barcelona. The award to the most responsible hostel is awarded for the first time in 2015.
The international community has encouraged a hostel in Barcelona for its contribution to the preservation of the environment and the economic and social development of the area. Twentytu Hi-Tech Hostel for several years has been using the surplus energy that comes with waste disposal for the operation of the air-conditioning system. The rooms of the hostel closely monitor the saving of water and electricity.
