I am a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan..Please, advise me on the following question: you need to go to the Health Literacy conference in Taiwan, Taipei on November 20 - 22, 2013, the organizer of Taipei medical university .The inviting party assures me that I will be able to obtain a visa at the airport upon arrival, although Kazakhstan is not on the list of countries whose citizens can put a visa at the airport, said that for participants of the conference an exception is made .Tell me, please, is this true? I'm going to food for the first time, I would like to be sure that there will not be any problems at the airport..Many thanks .

You should contact this organization only with the organizers of the conference, I never encountered cases when, on an exceptional basis, visas were opened at the airport of Taipei to citizens of the Russian Federation or the Republic of Kazakhstan. But, taking into account the fact that this conference is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, I admit that visa allowances can be made for participants of the International Health Literacy Conference.
