In this case, you really can accompany your friend only as the next of kin, spouse (provided that the Chinese employer meets you and signs an invitation to you two.)
As an option, you can apply for a business visa (category F) in Moscow for a period of 60 or 90 days in the country:
- 2x60 (two entries for a period of 60 days) with a corridor of 180 days
- multix90 (unlimited number of entries for up to 90 days) with a corridor of 180 or 360 days.
To obtain such a visa you should pay sya in the travel company, engaged in registration of Chinese visas.
