If you are applying for a Schengen visa to Hungary yourself, consult this list:

• copies of two pages of the civil passport (with a photo and with a residence permit);
• confirmation of the hotel booking (original or copy) with the stamp and signature of the responsible person, or a voucher (and its copy) of the Hungarian travel agency with the seal and signature of the responsible person;
• medical policy with a cover of at least 30 000 EUR (original and copy);
• copies of air or railway tickets, or electronic tickets (reservation in both directions).

In the consular section of the Embassy of Hungary, documents are accepted only by appointment. You can register for an interview online at the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary. The consular fee is paid directly when applying for a visa in the consular department, and is accepted only in EUR.
