Here there is a rare dwarf mouse lemur - the smallest representative of primates, which weighs about 30 grams, and the length of his body is not more than 20 centimeters, of which 10 falls on the tail. It was first described in 1852, but because of its small size and nightlife, this species could not be re-discovered until 1993.

Tourists who stay here for a couple of days can be rewarded with a unique sight of a very rare animal - fossa. This predatory mammal of the family of Madagascar predators, is the only representative of the genus Cryptoprocta, but in appearance it looks very much like a small puma. In 2000, the status of fossa in the international Red Book was changed from "vulnerable" to "dying out", as there were no more than 2500 of them. Fossa lit up and in the famous cartoon "Madagascar", alive it can be seen in the forest of Kirindi, in October.
