Diving in Malaysia is a guaranteed immersive dive for divers of any level of preparation. The waters of the South China Sea and Sulawesi are rich in plankton, so there are always a lot of fish. Add to this an excellent depth from 0 to 1000 m, good visibility (20-50 meters) and quality and professional dive centers and it becomes clear why Malaysia is deservedly considered one of the best countries for diving tourism.
The underwater world of Malaysia is one of the richest in the whole Indo-Pacific basin. The variety of local underwater landscapes is impressive: here you can dive to colonies of hard and soft corals, into depressions, underwater caves, to numerous raka. Among the local underwater inhabitants are hammerhead fish, turtles, barracuda, sea bucket, sea needle and other strange inhabitants of the depths. There are more than 90 dive sites in the country.
In the Malaysian ecosystem to date, there are more than 50 species of corals and more than 200 species of fish. All diving centers are officially certified by international systems: PADI, SSI, NAUI and BSAC. In the overwhelming majority, on all islands you can get services from simple diving to re-diving.
