We plan a trip in April-May, by invitation. I want to see more and visit Portugal, Spain, France, if possible. How best to plan the route, so as not to travel back and forth. We go together with her daughter, she is 12.
We do tours of Spain - Portugal, but usually people who want to go on such a tour, getting closer to Portugal's list of sights, understand that they should not overload themselves, but it's worth to look at at least some of the main sights of one country, which will already take up to 1 -2 weeks and interfere with the impression is not worth it. Usually people do that.
Even one Spain for 1 trip is an impossible trick. UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Little Portugal 14, Spain - 44, France - 38.
If you are determined to go around as many countries as possible- $ ,then you can fly to Portugal (Lisbon) ,take the Lisbon-Porto-Lisbon train ,further from Lisbon by train to the Algarve ,from the Algarve you can go to the south of Spain to Andalusia to the city of Malaga (in the south of Spain it is worth to visit the main cities ,for example Toledo ,Granada ,Seville ,Rondo ,Marbella ,Porto Banus) ,then go by train or fly to Madrid ,from Madrid you can go by train or fly to Catalonia - to Barcelona and Valencia to the east of Spain I want to note that the north of Spain is as much different from the south, so you can go not to the south and east, and to the north of Spain - the famous Santiago de Compostela !From Spain by plane you can get to France !
The conclusion is something like this:
- if you want to economically visit as many attractions as possible - take a bus tour to 1-2 countries.
- if you have the means and want to see more but yourself, then barite the car. You can drive a large number of cities in Portugal and Spain from west to east in a couple of weeks, but do not rest at all, having traveled 4-5 thousand kilometers.
- if you want to see exactly 3 countries, then only 3 capitals, flights by plane.
- if you want to get maximum pleasure from the rest, I recommend you and your daughter to go to the so-called combined tour - excursion program + rest on the island. Madeira, where exactly in the middle of May (9-12) will pass the famous carnival of flowers! This can be planned both on an individual basis and at the rates of group tours / excursions, that is exactly in the volume and at the time that is convenient for you.
