Citizens of the Russian Federation need a visa to visit Rwanda .This fact, however, does not at all burden the pleasant preparation for the trip, since the procedure for obtaining it is simplified as much as possible .An application for a visa is submitted online at the website of the relevant Rwandan migration authorities .Prepare a scanned or saved online booking confirmation of the hotel - it will be asked to attach to the online application .The very visa in the passport will be put on the border, collecting from the tourist a visa fee of 30 USD .If one month is not enough for Rwanda, the visa can be easily extended on the spot .

Since April 2014, tourists can visit Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya on a single "African" visa. The visa is multiple, it can be in these countries for 90 days for every six months. There is no visa fee, so it's advantageous to make out such a visa, not a national one - in this case the fee is saved.

Due to the lack of an Embassy of Rwanda in Russia, an application for an entry visa can be submitted online at the website of the State Immigration Committee of Rwanda (Single Entry Visa). At the conclusion of the procedure you need to download an invitation or confirmation of the hotel reservation. The applicant's e-mail address indicated on the application form will be confirmed by the possibility of issuing a visa, which must be printed and presented together with the passport at the entrance to the country.

The visa is valid for 30 days, if necessary, the term can be extended to 3 months, for which you need to contact the Office of Immigration of Rwanda. The cost is 30 USD for a single visa and 60 USD for multiple entry. The visa fee is paid at the border, when passing the passport control. The extension of the visa period to 90 days will cost 45 USD.

There are no diplomatic missions of Rwanda in Russia.
