For citizens of Russia, Turkey is a visa-free country, so there is no trouble with the processing of documents, and you can stay up to 60 days without visa on the territory of the country. When crossing the border (namely at the airport in Turkey) you should have:

• a foreign passport valid for at least 120 days on the day of arrival;
• return ticket;
• confirmation of hotel booking with indication of the period of stay and departure date;
• medical insurance issued before departure also for the period of stay in the country;
• confirmation of the availability of funds (no less than 300 USD).

As for payment for hotel accommodation, everything depends on the chosen hotel. Some hotels charge a certain amount immediately upon booking, while others can be paid upon arrival. Advance payment is possible by means of a bank card or by bank transfer.
