The flight of Alaska Airlines from Los Angeles to Portland was delayed for about an hour due to the fact that one of the passengers was bitten by a scorpion.

The incident occurred when the aircraft taxied to the runway, resulting in pilots had to return the aircraft to the airport terminal.
