Citizens of the Russian Federation do not need a visa to cross the Russian-Abkhaz border: you will pass a border control on a valid Russian Civil Passport or a foreign passport. Children under 14 cross the border with a birth certificate with a loose leaf or a stamp on citizenship.

Citizens of near and far abroad for the passage of the border must present a passport and a Russian visa, unless otherwise provided by an international agreement.
