The currency of the Principality of Andorra is not, in the country is EUR (Euro). In circulation there are banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 EUR, as well as coins with denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents.

However, this does not prevent Andorra, as a country of duty-free trade, from making transactions in any currency - there is no currency control as such. Credit cards of major world systems and tourist checks are freely accepted. Most shops and restaurants accept dollars for payment.

Money can be exchanged at a bank and at specialized exchange offices. In other places (including hotels) to change the currency is not accepted, and the rate is unprofitable. Commissions are a fixed tax, so it is more profitable to exchange large amounts.
