If you came to Antwerp by rail, the first sight that you will see is the Central Railway Station (Antwerpen Centraal). From it, the 4 most beautiful station in the world, you can reach the Old Town quite quickly. The path runs along the pedestrian street Meir, where you can buy souvenirs and see the old houses.

Then you will get to the Groen Plaats square, where the cathedral of Antwerp Our Lady is located. Several paintings for him wrote Rubens, whose monument stands on the same square. In the Old Town, there are many other attractions: the Grote Markt Square, the Town Hall and various Guilds, the Brabo Fountain, the Steen Castle (there is the Maritime Museum) and much more.

Be sure to stroll along the streets of the city and the promenade of the Scheldt River, visit the Rubens House Museum (Wapper, 9-11) or the Royal Museum of Fine Arts (Leopold De Waelplaats, 2). Visit the zoo in Antwerp (Koningin Astridplein, 26) - one of the oldest in Europe, and if finances permit, go to the Gold (aka Diamond) quarter, where they trade in diamonds. It occupies the streets De Keyserlei and Pelikaanstraat.
