Harbin is the administrative center of Heilongjiang Province, a major political, economic and cultural center in the Northeast of China. International Festival of ice lanterns and sculptures

The Harbin Festival "Snow and Ice" is not only a grand spectacle, but also a meeting place for creative people from all over the world. Every year, the team of sculptors from the USA, Canada, Japan, Russia, Singapore and many other countries come to the festival. Visitors can see more than 2000 ice compositions, for the manufacture of which more than one hundred thousand cubic meters of ice and the same amount of snow leave.
