What are the prices in Hungary for food, souvenirs and excursions?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Hungary is one of the few European countries where even an extra-class vacation is available at quite reasonable prices. In general, nothing can be denied within reasonable limits, but it is also not to glamor on vacation - it means taking 300 euros to Hungary - enough for souvenirs, for food and drink.

In inexpensive restaurants, the price for a lunch of several dishes is about 2000 forints (~ 265 rubles or 7 euros), in the most expensive restaurants - 5000 forints (~ 664 rubles or 17 euros). The quality of food is excellent, and portions are huge! Tipping - about 10%.

Yes, and food in Hungary is very high quality and relatively inexpensive: 1 euro - 1 kg of baked goods or cereals, 1 liter of milk. 1120 forints (148 rubles) costs 1 kg of beef, 550 forints (about 73 rubles) - 1 kg of chicken. One of the most expensive is sausage with white mold on the peel - salami "Peak" or "Herz": 1 kg is about 3000 forints (~ 400 rubles).

The approximate cost of group excursions - about 40 EUR per person - is a large sightseeing bus tour of Budapest, the bend of the Danube, a trip to Eger or to Gyor. Individual excursions to castles and other interesting places in the country with a guide-interpreter costs around 80 EUR.
