What is the currency in Israel?

Israel's monetary unit is a new shekel (NIS, 1 NIS is equal to 100 agorot).

There are banknotes in denominations - 20, 50, 100 and 200 shekels, and also coins in nominal value - 10, 50 agorot and 1, 2, 5 and 10 shekels.

At the moment, 1 USD is about 3, 76 NIS.
