The Latvian city expects prices to fall after the international competition of young musicians has replaced the place of deployment. This was announced by the president of the Association of Hotels of Latvia Janis Valodze, noting also that fears of hotels and restaurants in connection with the departure of the "New Wave" are groundless.
Янис Валодзе believes that the withdrawal of a popular competition can have the opposite effect: ordinary tourists who have previously avoided the resort city due to inflated prices for accommodation and meals will pay attention to Jurmala. Янис Валодзе also it is assured, that interest to a direction will be kept and at Russians who will pay attention to Jьrmala after hotels and restaurants will offer reasonable prices.
