Is it worth to go to the Maldives in May or there is not a season?
Responds Veronica Birman
Months from May to November are considered a "wet" season on the islands, and are pleased with the seasonal decline in prices. However, May, August, September and October are quite favorable for travel, the least recommended and wettest period is the south-west monsoon from the middle of June to the end of July.
And, in any case, do not forget that from the vagaries of nature no one not insured, especially in a humid tropical climate. Therefore, any month of the year can turn out to be both unusually sunny and successful, and cloudy, with prolonged rains.
