Portugal sightseeing: what to see?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
You can start your acquaintance with Portugal from Lisbon, the capital of the country. There are plenty of sights here: the Belem tower, the Jeronimos monastery, the palaces (Belem, Ajuda, etc.), the Vasco da Gama bridge, the fortress of San Jorge, the statue of Christ Krishtu-Rey and others.

The next item of the program should be Sintra. In this small town near the capital there are beautiful ancient palaces: National, Pena, Regalera (with the same park), Montserrati, half-ruined castle of the Moors. From there it is convenient to go to the most western point of Europe - to the Cape of Cabo da Roca.

Sometimes the trip to Sintra is also combined with visiting palaces in Kelush or Mafra, or with a stop in the city of Cascais.

Certainly worth visiting the city-museum of Evora with its palaces, churches and other objects of UNESCO World Heritage, in Porto. Admiring its architecture (towers, palaces, bridges), you can go to Vila Nova de Guy, where in the cellars there is a port and the museum of this wine is located.

Interesting will be an excursion to such cities as Braga with the church of Bon-Jesus-du-Monte), Batalha with the monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoria, Obidos, Alcobaça, Faro, Guimaraes, Lagos, Aveiro and much more. ±$ br >
