Is it possible to enter Romania by Schengen multiple entry visa?
Responds Polina Koval, Finland's leading manager for the Alps Adria Travell
At present, Romania is a member of the European Union, but not part of the Schengen area. Therefore, on the basis of a visa for the Schengen zone, foreign citizens can not enter the territory of Romania. But according to the Decision of 17.06.2008, foreign citizens can pass through the territory of Romania for a period not exceeding 5 days, without the obligation to obtain a Romanian transit visa if they are holders of a uniform visa (Schengen).
In your case it is better ask questions at the Romanian Embassy or from an expert on Romania.
