Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow closed 9 metropolitan hostels in residential buildings. Chief Sanitary Doctor of Moscow Elena Andreeva reported that in some of the closed hostels there were arranged lodging for 70 people.
In the Central Administrative District, it is not uncommon for hostels to be opened in apartment houses under anti-sanitary conditions. In turn, the Moscow City Duma proposed to develop norms that limit the opening of budget accommodation facilities in residential buildings.
