In the ethnographic village of Drvengrad in the mountains in Serbia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, a festival of author's cinema "Kustendorf." The opening ceremony was attended by the famous Russian director Andrei Konchalovsky.
The annual festival is held on the initiative of Emir Kusturica. In 2015, the well-known French actress Claudie Ossar became the chairman of the jury. At the opening ceremony, Kusturica presented Konchalovsky with a prize for future films - a nomination established by the Balkan filmmaker in analogy with the award for life achievements. It is interesting that Konchalovsky refused the prize, noting that he plans to receive it in his next visit to the festival.
