From Bohinj to Ljubljana, regular buses run (68 km and 9 USD one way). Good connection with another resort town - Bled (28 km).

The Bochin ski area unites several ski centers, the largest among them are Vogel, Kobla and Sorishka Planina.
Vogel is a plateau at altitudes of 1540-1880 m, the snow there stably keeps from the middle of December to the beginning of April. In Vogel, they ride on sledges and snowboard, do night skating and skating on the virgin soil. There is a ski school and a cross-country ski school. This center is best suited for families with children and for skiers of different levels of training.
In 12 kilometers from Bohinj at an altitude of 550-1480 m there is a ski resort Kobla, equipped with artificial snow. The length of the largest road is 2500 m, the height difference is 750 m. There is a sloping path, a snowboard and a ski school, which is considered one of the best in Slovenia.
The ski center Sorishka Planina is located 15 km from the Bohinj resort at an altitude of 1280-1549 m. The total length of its trails is 8 km, there is also a three-kilometer plot for flat skis. This center is suitable for beginners and families.
