Imagine a state with an area equal to half the Moscow region. Add to it a little the Alps, add the Adriatic Sea and clear lakes, dig up the term and plant thick forests - it will turn out to be Slovenia. I must say that in the spa centers of the local resorts of this wonderful country, long-cherished Germans and expansive Italians have long been basking in spending much less than in their homeland.
But the "all-Union health resort" Slovenia is successfully sold and in the Russian tourist market .The reasons for this popularity are quite obvious: local thermal spas have everything necessary to successfully combat many diseases: mineral waters that are rich in trace elements and other useful compounds, large medical centers with modern equipment, competent doctors and great work in the treatment of a variety of diseases. br>.In addition, Slovene resorts are no longer a rarity of Russian-speaking staff, which provides an accurate correction of the medical process .Finally, the very atmosphere of the "village of Europe" is the best contributor to the volatilization of anxious thoughts and the rapid emergence of the broad "inner smile of the Taoist master" .

Kitchen and restaurants
Slovenia has adopted a rating system for restaurants and catering establishments, which, however, does not always reflect the reality of things. Top-level institutions are called "restavracija", the level below is "gostilna" or "gostisce". Small snack bars are called "okrepchevalnitsa" (okrepcevalnica), "piwnniks" offer light snacks and beer, in "kavarna" they serve coffee and all kinds of cakes, and ice cream and sweets - in "slascicarna".
Masterpieces of national cuisine - pork sausages, Slovenian "shtrukli" (balls of dough stuffed with minced meat), dried ham "prshut" (sliced in thin slices with olives and wine). Certainly you need to leave a place for Slovenian desserts: "chicken" (pie with nuts), "gibanitsa" (puff pastry is filled with poppy seeds, nuts, raisins, apples, cottage cheese and served hot, oiled or creamy) and " "Cream-shnitt" (puff pastry with vanilla cream and air cream).
Slovenian vineyards are located on the same geographical breadth with the vineyards of Burgundy and Bordeaux, and the traditions of winemaking originate from the time of the Roman Empire. Therefore, local wines correspond to the tastes of the most demanding gourmets. In addition to excellent wines Slovenes make strong spirits from apples, plums, pears, honey. For example, a liqueur "Pletrushka Khrushka" with an obligatory pear in a bottle.
