Verbier, a town in the south-west of Switzerland, is recognized as the most expensive ski resort in Europe. Such data was provided by specialists of the portal allvoyages.
The study compared prices for living in resorts. The average cost of spending the night in Verbier was about 305 CHF. The second place went to the resort of St. Anton am Arlberg, located in Austrian Tyrol, where the average cost of spending the night is about 295 CHF. The top three most expensive ski resorts in Europe is the French Meribel, where a day at the hotel will cost 290 CHF.
In the top ten most expensive resorts, there are four other French cities. It is noteworthy that Courchevel took only the ninth place.
