Can I stay in Turkey for more than 90 days out of 180? What type of visa does this offer?
Responds Yaroslav Novikov
It is located in Turkey for a period of more than 90 days, perhaps it requires a guest (private) or work visa.
Documents required for a guest visa:
- completed visa application form with a photo;
- copy of the page of the foreign passport with the personal data of the tourist;
- a notarized invitation from the inviting person (original);
- a certificate from the place of work or an extract from a bank account.
Note: visas can be issued after receiving a response to a request from Turkey, the deadline for receiving a response is approximately 2 months.
Documents required for a work visa:
- completed visa application form with a photo;
- copy of the page of the foreign passport with the personal data of the tourist;
- the original contract of employment concluded with the Turkish company;
- an employer's invitation printed on a letterhead.
Note: visas can be issued after receiving a response to a request from Turkey, the deadline for receiving a response is approximately 1, 5-2 months.
Please note that these types of visas are quite problematic, and the fact that the Consulate will decide to give you a visa for a period exceeding 90 days is small.
