Have the visa rules for the entry of Russian citizens to the territory of Ukraine changed?
Responds Maria Ilyukhina, "World of Transactions" company, $ $
For citizens of the Russian Federation and most of the CIS countries, a visa is not required for visiting Ukraine. But, if earlier it was possible to enter the territory of Ukraine by both internal and foreign passports, then from January 1, 2015 the rules will change. Cross the border will be possible only on a foreign passport, which will be stamped with a border stamp.
In this regard, citizens planning a trip to Ukraine should take care of the foreign passport in advance, as it is possible that the number of applications for receiving the latter will increase.
