On May 7, the Albanian government decided to cancel visas for a number of countries for a summer period. Visa-free entry will be allowed, including for tourists from Russia from May 25 to September 30, 2014 ±$ $. For crossing the Albanian border this summer, Russians will need to have only a valid passport. Albania is not the first time to cancel visas for the summer season to attract more tourists. In addition to Russians, a visa will not be required for citizens of Moldova and several Arab countries.
Thus, Russians planning to visit the Balkans can view several countries at once with only a passport: in addition to Albania, visas are not needed when entering Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.
