Book a hotel in Andorra at the best price
There are some hotels even 2 *, which have a circle of regular customers, and where it is not so easy to get to, especially during the peak of the European season - in February. And there are hotels 3 *, which in quality can sometimes compete with hotels 4 *. Recently, in Andorra there has been a trend of increasing stellarness, that is, a number of 3 * hotels, recently, have been reconstructed and upgraded in the category to 4 *.
Hotel types in Andorra:
Hotels in the capital
The first group - hotels in the capital. The widest range of hotels from 2 * to 5 *. Almost all 5 * hotels are concentrated in the capital of Andorra la Vella / Escaldes. Hotels here will be cheaper than similar star rating at the ski lifts.
Pros:
- The biggest possibilities of "après ski", as all shops, restaurants, bars, discotheques, thermal complexes are located in the capital.
Cons:
- In the capital (for now!) There are no lifts, at the moment it is necessary to get to the ski lifts by bus, the nearest one is the "La Massana" lift (Vallnord station, 2-3 km) or "Funicam" (in Encamp, Grandvalira station) .
Hotels near the ski lifts
The second group - hotels near the ski lifts, they are one of the most expensive.
Pros:
- Skating almost from the threshold.
Cons:
- Limited leisure, only within the resort. Of course, there are also quite small resorts, where there are several restaurants or bars. There are practically no shops. There are large resorts with good infrastructure and ski lifts (the most interesting is Pas de la Casa)
Hotels in the mountains, 500-700 m from the ski lift
The third group is hotels not in the capital, located in the mountains, but up to the ski lift 500-700 m. Usually in such hotels there is everything you need: pool, own disco, bars. The hotel organizes its free shuttle service to the nearest ski lift. The price of such hotels is cheaper than the price of a hotel of a similar level at the lift. It is always easier to find places for large groups.
Who should go to Andorra?
Andorra is always recommended for beginners, thanks to its excellent infrastructure (Andorra's main income in winter is mountain skiing).
It will be interesting for those who ride, and the largest station of Andorra is Grandvalira, now it is an "analogue" of the French Three Valleys, that is, you can live in any village, each of them has its own lift, and you can ride all over Grandvalire (200 km of trails).
Those who do not ride can take themselves on pleasant shopping trips (Andorra - duty free zone) or visit thermal complexes (many hotels have their own spa centers). You can visit with excursions or on a rented car border countries (France and Spain). You can ride in the mountains, at the stations on sleighs, dog sleds, snowshoes and so on. Visit "Naturlandia" - eco-park and ride the biggest in Europe tobotrinka.
In addition, Andorra has a great opportunity to upgrade or buy a "ski wardrobe", as there are a lot of sports vintage stores, and sales start from January 2.
In Andorra we offer hotels for different categories of tourists:
- here you can find hotels for families (there are hotels with two-room rooms, or themed rooms for children)
- high-level hotels for VIP tourists, for example, Andorra Park 5 *, Sport Hermitage 5 *, Roc Blanc 4 * sup
- you can also find secluded hotels where there are no compatriots at remote resorts.
Andorra is a small mountainous country, but with great opportunities for recreation for all who come here.
