The ski area of Grandvalira is a valley connecting several resorts: Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, El Tarter, Soldeu, Encamp (Encamp) and Canillo (Canillo).
Grandvalira can offer trails for skiers of any level, there are also cross-country skiing areas, several freestyle zones, half-pipe, boardercross areas. On all the routes Grandvalira operates a single ski pass.

How to get
In Andorra there is no airport, and the nearest ones are located in neighboring Barcelona (220 km), Toulouse (195 km), Carcassone (176 km), Girona (260 km), Reus (240 km) and Lerida (150 km). From the airports of Toulouse, Barcelona, Lleida, Valencia and Madrid, buses from Nadal-Eurolines go to Andorra, from Reus to Hispano Igualadina. And from the airports of Barcelona, Girona and Toulouse - Novatel buses.
There is also no railway station in Andorra. The nearest station is in the French town of Hospitalet, 3 km from the border with Andorra, from where the regular buses of Hispano Andorrana go to Pas de la Casa. Moreover, Andorra can be reached by bus from Viatges Montmantell and Alsina-Graells from the railway station in Lerida.

On auto
Traveling from Spain, take the C-145 road from Lerida, then follow C-16 through the Kadi tunnel or the town of Puigcerda to the village of Seo de Urgell, which lies 30 km from Encamp.
Traveling from France, you should move along the road N-22, crossing the border with Andorra in Pas de la Casa.
Transport
Bus transportation by Andorra is carried out by the local company Cooperativa Interurbana Andorrana, all 8 lines (or routes) which run through the capital of the Principality of Andorra la Vella. Buses run at a frequency of 30 minutes, and the fare varies from 1.2 EUR to 3 EUR. The L4 line connects Encamp, Canillo and Soldeu, and the line L5 Encamp, Canillo and Pas de la Casa.
Kitchen
In the El Raco Del Park restaurant you can enjoy not only excellent regional cuisine, but also a stunning panoramic view. The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the Funicamp ski lift.
The restaurant Roc De Les Bruixes in Canillo is considered one of the most highly rated restaurants due to the mixture of French, Andorran and Pyrenean cuisines, as well as a view of the valley of Valle del Forn.
In El Tarter, there is an Italian restaurant La Trattoria, where a delicious pizza, pasta and risotto are prepared right in front of the visitors, and another Mercat Del Pi restaurant with a unique architecture and interior that is considered one of the newest in Grnadvilar. The restaurant prepares traditional dishes from rice, paella and fideua.
In the Gall De Bosc Steak House, located at an altitude of 2,250 meters in Soldeu, you can taste meat cooked on the grill, stewed, roasted or baked in the oven under different sauces.
In Grau-Roch is worth visiting the restaurant Llac De Pessons, located at an altitude of 2,350 meters on the shore of a natural lake, and on the pass dividing the Pas de la Casa from Grau Roach, at an altitude of 2,600 meters - the restaurant Coll Blanc with panoramic 360 degree view. In addition to restaurants in Grandvalira, self-service dining rooms are located.

The Grandvalira ski area has 112 slopes of varying degrees of complexity: 19 green, 39 blue, 30 red, 24 black, equipped with 66 lifts.
- Encamp: 1 green, 4 blue and 3 red tracks, 4 lifts.
- Canillo: 3 green, 1 blue, 1 black piste, 7 lifts.
- El Tarter: 3 green, 7 blue, 5 red, 4 black pistes, 11 lifts.
- Soldeu: 6 green, 14 blue, 5 red, 7 black slopes, 16 lifts.
- Grau-Roach: 3 green, 10 blue, 11 red, 8 black slopes, 16 lifts.
- Pas de la Casa: 3 green, 3 blue, 5 red, 4 black pistes, 12 lifts.
The highest peak in Grandvalira is Tossal de Lallosada (2560 m), and the entire skiing area is located on two levels: the upper and lower. The upper level is located at an altitude of 2000 to 2500 meters and is represented by high mountain routes of any complexity. The lower level is located at an altitude from 1700 to 2000 meters and is represented mainly by forest trails, closed from the wind.
Soldeu is located in the central part of Andorra at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. The resorts of Soldeu and El Tarter are located 3 km from each other and are combined by ski slopes and cable cars. In addition, these two resorts are connected by a ski lift with Canillo. The routes of Soldeu and El Tarter are laid through picturesque woodlands and are more suitable for skiers of the average level of riding.
The Pas de la Casa is located at the mountain pass on the border with France, and the trails here will suit everyone's taste: complex slopes with a large drop of heights lie in the upper part of the valley, and more gentle and even slopes pass at the foot of the mountain. $
Ski pass for 1 day of skiing in high season will cost 42/31 EUR per adult / child up to 11 years. For 6 days of skiing - at 221/153 EUR, for 5 days out of 7 - at 186/130 EUR. Prices are as of September 2011.
Entertainment, Excursions and Attractions Grandvaly
The main attraction of the resort town of Canillo is the Palau de Gel Ice Palace, which is a sports complex with an indoor skating rink designed not only for various competitions, but also for rest.
- For a week, check out the bar of each of the six Grandvalira resorts.
- Lay your own ski route from Encamp to Pas de la Casa. At the same time, you need to get back to Encamp before the lift closes at 16:45, otherwise you'll have to get to the hotel by bus.
- Conquer the highest peak of the Andorran Pyrenees, climbing the lift to an altitude of 2520 meters above sea level. The main thing - then be able to come down from there!
In Encamp there is a museum of cars, which presents about 100 cars produced in the period from 1898 to 1950, as well as a large number of rare bicycles and motorcycles.
Not far from Encamp in the village of Le Bons is the historic complex of Sant'A Roma de les Bons, which consists of a 12th century church, a 13th century watchtower, a water tower, an irrigation canal and the remnants of a fortress of the late 13th century, according to historians who belong to the counts Foix .The church is dedicated to the Holy Roman of Caesarea (Antioch) and is designed in the Romanesque style .The church has a rectangular nave and a semicircular apse, made in the Lombard style .The interior is presented by a stone altar and reproductions of paintings in Romanesque and Gothic styles .The paintings depict the apocalyptic visions of St. John (12th century) and St. Peter (16th century) .Unfortunately, for tourists the historical complex is open only from July to August, and in winter it can be viewed only from the outside .
