In the south-western part of the federal state of Tyrol, at an altitude of more than 4.5 thousand meters stretched a huge ski resort in Austria - Ischgl. In the 60s of the last century this small village was the starting point for alpinists-alpine skiers under the name "Classic Silvretta". Since then, Ischgl has been actively developing and is now a fashionable and expensive ski resort.
The season in Ischgl begins in November and lasts until the end of May. During this period, lovers of winter sports can perfectly spend time in this picturesque corner, enjoying the cleanest air, sun and mountain panorama. The resort has 40 lifts, more than two hundred kilometers of ski slopes of any complexity, plains, steep slopes and excellent trails for snowboarders.

Austrian Sant Anton is the most famous resort of the country. In 1922, the world's first school for skiers was opened here, and in 1904 the world's first downhill competitions took place.
The city has two ski schools, a kindergarten, a children's ski school and the Snowboard Academy. Visiting Sant Anton is recommended for trained and professional athletes, as there are very steep slides here, and the level of preparation of the trails is very high.
Resort entertainment in St. Anton is not limited to skiing alone. In the city there are tennis courts, a skating rink, a bowling alley, an indoor swimming pool. You can also go in for paragliding and sledding and take a walk on the hiking routes.
Among the sightseeing tours of the city attractions the Ski Museum is very popular, located in one of the most beautiful buildings, a visit to the monument to the ancestor of the mountain skiing of Hannes Schneider, the churches of St. Anthony and St. James.
