Shamkir (Shamkor) is a city in Azerbaijan, located in the northern foothills of the Lesser Caucasus, on the banks of the Jagirchay River, an hour's drive from Ganja, and 417 km. from Baku. To get from Russia to Shamkir, you can either independently: first by plane to Baku, then by bus to Shamkir. Or as part of a tourist group.
