What are the prices in Belgium?

Belgium can not be called a particularly expensive country, although it should not be expected from budget tourism. Here, for example, there are quite a few cheap hostels, you can find a lodging for 20 EUR for a place in the common room only in Brussels. In Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent the average price for a room in a hotel will be from 45-60 EUR per day. Often, it does not include the city tax of 1.5-2.5 EUR per night.

If you eat in a cafe, you need to be ready to pay for dinner from 15 EUR for one. Dinner at the restaurant, with drinks and tips will cost 65-75 EUR on average. But a snack in all kinds of Chinese or Vietnamese cafes or in the ubiquitous "Mc Donalds" can be for 8-10 EUR. Famous Belgian waffles cost from 2 EUR, cappuccino about 4 EUR, coffee with a croissant - 4-5 EUR, beer from 3.5 EUR per glass.

By the way, the same beer (a bottle of about 3 €) and waffles are often taken from Belgium as souvenirs. You can also type chocolate (3-5 €), lace (from 10 EUR for a small napkin), porcelain (from 7-10 €), etc.

The daily subscription for all modes of transport in Brussels will cost 6 EUR. One-time trip 2 EUR, if you buy a ticket at a kiosk and 2.50 EUR if you buy from a bus or tram driver. Travel to Antwerp costs about the same.
