How many Russians live in Belgium? Do they occur on the streets? Are there shops?

Responds information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Official statistics in 2010 claimed that in Belgium there are about 35-40 thousand Russians. According to unofficial data, this figure was understated by more than 2 times and Russians in the country are much more than 80 thousand. Mostly they are legally resident in Belgium. Many of them came here to study and work, they study the language of the region in which they settled, and are actively trying to join the Belgian society.

Historically, so many Russians are concentrated in the province of Antwerp. In its eponymous capital is the most numerous Orthodox parish in the country.

In secular life, Russian shops work for our compatriots, Russian-language weekend schools, music schools and circles are open in several cities. On the Internet there are enough Russian-speaking forums. For some special support and help it is hardly worth counting, although advice will always help there.
