In the summer of 2015 a museum will open in the capital of Belgium, which is expected to attract fans of old locomotives and simply curious tourists to the city.
At present, the details of the future exposition are waiting for their high point in five warehouses. The new museum opens in the building of the historical station Scharbek. The Belgian authorities expect that the Train World Museum in Brussels will be part of an advertising campaign to attract passengers to local railways. Let us note that the Belgian railway is the oldest in Europe.
Visitors to the new museum will be able to immerse themselves in the history of Belgian trains, from the inception of the industry in 1835 to the present. The railway museum will contain at least 200 exhibits.
