Do I need to issue a visa to China to a member of the crew of the vessel for the performance of official duties

I am a citizen of the Russian Federation, a member of the crew of the ship (the flag of the ship is not RF, not PRC), standing in China, must arrive on the ship for the performance of official duties. Question: Do I need to issue a visa to the PRC, or a guarantee letter from the agency or the shipowner's company and the ship's role is enough?

Yes, you need a visa to China. Required documents:

1) Ship's role (original);
2) An invitation from an authorized organization from the Chinese side;
3) Original passport of a seaman or passport + copies;
4) The questionnaire of the established sample;
5) 1 color photo 3x4 cm on a light background.
