Tell me, please, whether it is possible to fly to Hong Kong without a visa and there to issue a tourist visa for a period of 30 days. If so, specifically where should I go to Hong Kong and how quickly will it be processed? How much does it cost?

A visa where do you want to apply when you arrive in Hong Kong? To China? Or a visa for staying in Hong Kong for up to 30 days?

If to China, then:

Citizens of the Russian Federation can stay in Hong Kong without a visa for up to 14 days of stay. An individual Chinese visa can be issued by contacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong SAR at the address: 7th Floor, Lower Block, China Resources Building, No.26, Harbor Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong SAR, Monday to Friday (excluding holiday days) from 09:00 to 12:00, from 14:00 to 17:00, the site www.fmcoprc.gov.hk.

Visa processing deadline:

  • Normal, 4 workdays. days, incl. day of submission (for example: submission on Monday, receipt on Thursday);
  • Express, 3 workdays. days, incl. day of submission (for example: submission on Monday, receipt on Wednesday);
  • Urgent, 2 working days. days, incl. the day of the submission (for example: serving on Monday morning, getting on Tuesday before lunch, serving on Monday after lunch, getting on Tuesday night).

Tourist Chinese visa (category L) is issued mainly for up to 14 days of stay. Consular fee (single entry) is:

  • Usual term - 470HKD;
  • Express - 670HKD;
  • Urgent - 770HKD.

1 US dollar is equal to 7, 76HKD.

Required documents:

1). OZP, valid min. 6 months from the day of the end of the trip;

2). 1 color. photo on a light background 3, 5 * 4, 5;

3). Completed application form;

4). Copies of air tickets (air tickets);

5). Confirmation of hotel reservation.

Or you can apply for a visa service in China in one of the many travel agencies, I usually recommend China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Ltd. (www.ctshk.com)

Less - in this case, in addition to the consular fee, you will have to pay for the agency's services. Pros - saving time and guaranteed result.

If you intend to stay in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC for up to a month, then after 14 days you should leave for several hours in Macau and re-enter Hong Kong to be able to stay there for another two weeks.
