On more than 4000 islands of the Cuban archipelago, there is an astronomical number of diverse fauna: birds alone here have about 400 species, including an amazing bird-fly.
The most popular national parks in Cuba are the tropical Topes de Colantes with a 75- meter waterfall Kaburni and picturesque cascade Vega Grande. On its territory you can observe the life of colorful inhabitants of the tropics, swim in underground rivers, lie in a mud bath.
There are over 400 islands of the Cuban archipelago with an astronomical number of diverse fauna: birds alone here have about 400 species, including number of amazing bird-fly.
The largest forest massif of the country is located on the territory of the Guanakabibes reserve; Besides this, there are more than a hundred lakes, a karst plain and the purest sand. In the forests of Guanacabibes, there are about 200 species of birds, and 4 species of rare sea turtles live in the bay.
Amateurs of amphibians and reptiles and wading birds will recommend visiting the Zapata Marsh Reserve, where you can see Cuban and American crocodiles, manatees and relict reptile manhuari fish.
