Registration of a visa through a travel agency
Documents required for obtaining a visa:
- Passport (validity period must be at least three months after the end of the proposed trip, it is necessary to have at least two blank pages and the owner's signature);
- copy of the page with personal data;
- 2 photo 3, 5x4, 5 cm (black and white or color, on white background, without seals, corners and ovals)
- a questionnaire that must be legibly filled in English or Czech, printed out on 2 pages on both sides and signed;
- copy of the page with the photo and the page with the residence permit of the civil passport;
- a tourist agreement signed with the tourist with the tour operator on tourist services in the Czech Republic.
To confirm the availability of sufficient financial resources for the trip, one of the following documents must be provided:
- a certificate to the employer's place of work, indicating the position and salary. Pensioners provide a copy of the pension certificate, nonworkers - a statement of sponsorship and a certificate from the sponsor's work;
- an extract from the bank account (original) indicating the balance of funds on the account, name and surname of the account holder. The certificate must be stamped by the bank;
- international bank card. To the application you need to attach a photocopy of the card and an extract from the bank about the current account with the bank's stamp;
- a document confirming payment for services related to accommodation in the Czech Republic;
- a document confirming that services related to accommodation in the Czech Republic will be free of charge.

Single women traveling with children should provide a photocopy of a single mother certificate or an original police certificate stating that the relationship with the child's father is not supported and his whereabouts are unknown. Visa processing independently
In case of issuing a visa yourself, you must also attach:
- confirmation of the reservation from the hotel with the hotel's stamp and signature of the manager, or an invitation from an individual or legal entity, certified by the Czech police authorities for foreigners. The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in St. Petersburg does not accept fax copies made on roll fax paper;
- a document confirming the availability of sufficient financial resources for the entire period of stay in the Czech Republic and other Schengen countries;
- a copy of the health insurance valid for the entire stay and throughout the Schengen area, with an insurance coverage limit of at least 30,000 EUR (also at the time of filing with you must have the original);
- in the absence of an invitation from a private or legal person, or - an invitation from a Czech physical or legal person certified by the Czech police authorities for foreigners, or a valid agreement between the applicant for a visa and a travel company for the provision of services and a tourist voucher, air or train tickets (or booking tickets).
In Moscow, documents for all types of short and transit visas are accepted at the Czech Visa Center. There is no preliminary record. Reception of documents - from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00, the issuance of ready-made visas - from 11:00 to 16:00.
To obtain ready-made visas at Visa Centers, individual applicants must submit an ICR check, an agency agreement, an identity document. If the documents are received by the authorized person of the passport holder, he must additionally submit a notarized power of attorney from the passport holder authorizing him (a third person) to receive documents on behalf of the principal.
Consular fee
The standard time for visa processing is 5-10 working days. Also, urgent visa processing is possible - within 3 working days if tickets are available (in this case, the consular fee is charged in double amount).
In the Czech Visa Center in Moscow, the visa fee is paid only in rubles and is 2380 RUR, with urgent registration - 4760 RUR. In addition, a fee is collected for the services of the visa center in the amount of 1000 RUR.
In the consular department of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Moscow, the consular fee is paid in EUR for a short-term visa (single entry and multiple entry visa) and is 35 EUR, with urgent registration - 70 EUR. The exact amount of the fee is accepted.
In Yekaterinburg, the visa fee is collected in rubles directly in the Czech Visa Center and amounts to 2380 RUR, with urgent registration - 4760 RUR. A fee is also charged for the services of the Visa Center in the amount of 1000 RUR for each application for issuing a visa.
In St. Petersburg, the consular fee is paid directly to the consulate when submitting documents. Currently, the fee for a short-term visa (single and multiple) is 35 EUR, with urgent registration - 70 EUR. The exact amount of the fee is accepted.
Consular fees for a short-term visa are not charged for children under 6 years, for long-term visas - from children under 15. The service fee is collected in any case for each application for a visa. Visa refusal and service fee are not refunded in case of visa refusal.
Visas for citizens of the CIS countries
Citizens of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan need to do the same for the visa as the Russians - with the only difference that the consular fee from citizens of Belarus and Kazakhstan is 60 EUR. Ukrainian tourists will pay the same 2380 RUR as the citizens of Russia.
