Until 2002 there was no metro in Copenhagen. Therefore, so far the Copenhagen subway has only 22 stations. They are located on two lines, yellow and green, with a total length of 21 km.
The green line, M1, connects the Vanlose station in the city center and Vestamager in the suburb of Ørestad on the island of Amager. The yellow line, M2, also begins on Vanlos and through the entire center of the capital, right up to Christianshavn, goes the same way as M1. The terminal stop is Lufthavnen in Terminal 3 of Kastrup Airport. (Do not confuse it with Kastrup station!)
Opening hours
The Metro in Copenhagen works around the clock on all days of the week. On each of the lines in the afternoon the trains run at intervals of 4-6 minutes, at night every 15-20 minutes. In the center of the city, where the lines run parallel to each other, this interval decreases.
The cost of travel
Children under 12 travel by subway for free, adults have to pay 24 kroons (3.2 €) per trip in 2 subway zones - now it's the base ticket, the actual hour. Subscription for 10 such trips will cost 145 CZK (19.5 €), and a daily travel card for all modes of transport in 4 zones - 75 CZK (10 €).
