In 2015 the Dominican Republic will host the World Championship in sport fishing. The tournament is planned to be held in 3 stages, in which participants will collect points.
Based on the result shown in the final of the competition will be revealed the winner. Each stage will take place in the framework of already existing competitions, which have been held in Dominicana for several years with unchanged success.
The eastern coast of the country is considered an ideal place for deep-water fishing and one of the best places for catching blue marlin. The World Championship in sports fishing is organized by the companies International Billfish Tournaments, Marin Cap Cana and Marina de Сampo.
