Can a girl of 17 years go to Egypt by proxy from one of the parents? Father is currently far away and can not issue a document.

Responds Margarita Harutyunyan, World of Transactions
For minors traveling to Egypt without an escort of parents or third parties, receive parental consent. And this document should be issued by both parents. So you need to have a notarized power of attorney to leave and from your father. The document can be asked to be provided on the Russian border or upon arrival in Egypt.
