Goa has diving, but, like many popular beach resorts, it is rather mediocre. Small visibility, shallow depths and reef fish, even several racks. Good direction for beginners. More interesting diving will be off the coast of Netrani or near the island of Pigeon - however, these are quite distant trips from Goa. If you already have the experience of diving, and you are planning to travel to India, it is better to climb, for example, to the Lakadiv or Andaman Islands.

Both islands - Netrani and Pigeon - are in the state of Karnataka, about four hours from Goa. Local dive centers will offer trips and dives there.
