Pontianak
This Indonesian city is located almost on the equator, at the confluence of two rivers. On the shore of one of them is the memorial sign Equator. Places of interest in Pontianak: Abdurrahman mosque (18th century), built in typical Malay style; Sultan's palace Kadriakh with a collection of family sultan relics; City Museum (collections of Chinese porcelain, ceramics of Thailand and Kalimantan, an interesting exposition devoted to the culture of the Dayaks).
