The Foreign Ministries of the two countries are preparing to sign a memorandum on bilateral visa facilitation for tourists in the near future. Iran's Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sana'y said that the agreement provides for the issuance of a visa as soon as possible.
In addition, according to Mehdi Sanaya, after signing the agreement, tourists from Russia and Iran will be able to extend tourist visas at their place of stay. Citizens who apply for a business visa can now apply for a long-term residence permit.
