Will a visa to Italy be given to a freelancer without a job certificate?
Responds Nadezhda Petrenko, Russian Express company
Freelancer is a person who does work without concluding a long-term contract with the employer, hired only to perform a certain list of works (freelance worker). You need to provide contracts and contracts for the work performed, as confirmation of the legality of your income. Without providing these, a visa can be refused.
Recently, a tourist asked us to "close" the previous refusal. In a refusal letter, the visa officer in rather harsh terms assumed that the client had robbed a bank, a shop that passed on the street - then put money in another bank - took an extract and submitted documents for the visa.
